TradeSensei ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation thereof.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Account & waitlist data: email address, optional name.
- Usage data: pages visited, lessons opened, anonymous device and browser info.
- Communications: messages you send us via email or forms.
We do not collect financial account information, brokerage credentials, or trading data.
3. Why we use it
- To send you product updates and waitlist notifications (with your consent).
- To improve our lessons and platform.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to perform our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), and for our legitimate interest in operating the platform (Art. 6(1)(f)).
5. Sharing
We never sell your data. We share data only with trusted processors that help us run the service (hosting, email delivery, analytics). All processors are bound by data-processing agreements.
6. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account or waitlist signup is active, and delete it on request or when no longer needed.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@tradesensei.nl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email or on the site.
